Mission Statement
To identify the needs of area residents and to provide opportunities for the members of participating churches and community at large to responds to these needs through prayer, volunteerism and financial support.
Food Pantry Hours
FOOD PANTRY IS OPEN THE FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM 9:30-11:00 PM
The Whitesburg Area Christian Ministries Food Pantry is opened the first and third Thursday of each month from the hours 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
You must first sign-in at the Whitesburg United Methodist Church (across from Whitesburg Elementary School) then you will directed to the food pantry located at
776 Main Street, Whitesburg, Ga.
FOOD DONATIONS
Food donations (non-perishable food) can be dropped-off anytime and place on donation table. Also, on the first and third Monday of each month from 9:00-11:00 AM.
Please don't leave Toys, furniture or clothes
In the fall we have a day for coats and blankets donations.

Tanner Mobile Mammography Unit
Tanner Mobile Mammography Bus comes to Whitesburg once month on the second Thursday. It's so convenient for those of us who live near Whitesburg. To schedule an appointment for a mammogram or bone density screening call Tanner's appointment line at 770-836-9721. You do not need a written order from your doctor, you can do a self-referral.
Community Thanksgiving Celebration
The community of churches will have their Annual Community Thanksgiving Service, Sunday November 19, 2023, beginning at 6:00. Please join us for good fellowship and food at Whitesburg Rec. Center 60 Booster Field Whitesburg, Georgia

Please remember failure to receive a water bill DOES NOT excuse your obligation to pay your bill.

If weather prevents the food pantry from opening, we will post to our social pages: Facebook: Whitesburg Area Christian Ministries, Whitesburg Neighborhood page and notify the Carrollton Radio Station WLBB AM 1330 and FM 106.3 also to our Webpage: thwacm.org.
